If you're an iOS user, you will be familiar with the 30-day window that holds deleted photos. Once the 30-day time is over, your photos will be permanently deleted in the stock Photos app. The new recently deleted feature in Instagram pretty similar to it and holds the deleted photos for 30-days before they get permanently deleted. The feature is pretty handy for photos that get deleted accidentally for you can always retrieve them later on. 1. The first thing that you have to do is navigate to your profile. You can do this by tapping the Profile Tab on the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. Now, tap on the three-line hamburger icon situated in the top right corner.
3. Tap on Settings and then Accounts.
4. Look for the Recently Deleted options from the list.
You will be presented with your recently deleted posts in a grid. Out of all of your deleted posts, if you want to restore one of them, simply choose the post, videos, stories, and more.
5. Once you have selected the post, all you have to do is tap on the Restore button.
That's all that you have to do in order to restore deleted posts on Instagram. Take note that while posts are available in the deleted folder for 30 days, stories will last for only 24 hours. After the 30-day time period is over, the post will be permanently deleted. If you want to permanently delete the posts, it will be done through text messages or email.
