Best Black Friday deals on period pants UK

Several big brands, including Love Luna, Modibodi, Pantys and WUKA are offering discounts on period pants for Black Friday, and we've rounded up what deals are available to help you save money.

Period pants don't come cheap, especially as you need at least a few pairs to get you started. While brands do fairly regularly have special offers on, such as 10% off your first purchase, or savings when you buy multiple pairs, it's worth checking out if you can save more over Black Friday.

We've rounded up what Black Friday discounts the main brands are offering to help you find the best deals.

Make sure you're also clued up about which period pant brands are best before you buy. We asked users to rate them on measures including comfort, durability and protection from leaks - see our unique brand survey results in our period pants compared guide.

Black Friday deals on period pants: who has the biggest discounts?

undefined

We asked period pant brands to tell us about any upcoming Black Friday deals to give you a head start. We'll update this page with more info if we spot it. Here's what we've found so far:

Cheeky Wipes

Cheeky Wipes told us it will have Black Friday deals from Tuesday 21 November.

Period pants will cost £10 per pair or £49 for five pairs.

This will be a significant discount on some products, which currently cost up to £15.99. Some items are already priced below £10, and some clearance pairs are already £7.49.

Available to buy online at Cheeky Wipes.

Intimawear by Bodyform

On its own site Bodyform is offering up to 50% off its Intimawear line of period pants this Black Friday, which is pretty good considering at full price they are around £25, depending on absorbency levels.

Discounts are already live on the website, with most items seeing at least 30% off.

It's worth shopping around though, as Boots is also currently doing deals on these pants, with £10 off, taking them to £15 (slightly less than Bodyform, depending on what absorbency / style you are after), as is the Bodyform store on Amazon (most just styles under £15).

Available to buy at BodyformBoots and Amazon.

Love Luna

Love Luna told us it will be offering 30% off selected lines for Black Friday with a promotional code. Its range is already on the cheaper side, with products typically priced around the £10 mark.

However, we also found Love Luna period pants currently on sale at Sainsbury's Tu (available in some stores and online). Here, prices tend to be about 20% lower already, with some mid-range pants for £8.

Available to buy at Love Luna and Tu Clothing.

Modibodi

Modibodi told us it will be offering up to half price on certain products this Black Friday, in what the brand says is its biggest sale yet. Deals will be live between 25 November - 2 December on its site, according to Modibodi.

Modibodi’s range is on the pricier side, with its premium pants starting from around £18 (though it does offer multi-buy and first-timer discounts) so this could be an opportunity to bag them for less.

If you don't want to wait, we've spotted that John Lewis is currently offering 20% off select ranges.

Available to buy at Modibodi and John Lewis

Pantys

Pantys told us it is planning to run Black Friday discounts, though it didn’t share details of the kind of discounts we can expect.

Currently prices are around the £18 to £34 range, but users did rate them as good value for money in our survey, so it could be a good opportunity to secure them for less.

Available to buy online at Pantys

WUKA

WUKA has kicked off early, and is offering up to 30% off selected period pants, meaning some will cost just £8 a pair.

The brand will also donate 1% of all sales to the charity Choose Love, which will provide period pants to those in need across the country.

Available to buy online at WUKA

Will Flo, Thinx and Hey Girls have Black Friday deals?

Fellow period pants brands Flo, Hey Girls and Thinx haven't yet announced any Black Friday sales, but it's worth keeping an eye out. We did find Flo period pants currently half-price at Look Fantastic (£12.50 per pair).

You might also be able to pick up deals in M&S and Primark, which both stock their own range of period underwear. Find out more about how they compare in our M&S vs Primark period pants comparison.

How to save money on period pants

undefined

While there are clearly some price cuts to be had, and if you know what you want it could be a good chance to stock up, there’s no need to panic buy.

Generally speaking, we find that Black Friday deals on products aren’t always the cheapest of the year, and many things end up cheaper in the months after the big day.

Even if this isn’t the case with period pants, you can usually save money all year round by buying multipacks from most brands, which will often work out cheaper per pair than buying them separately.

Some brands also offer discounts for new customers, such as Modibodi’s 15% off ‘starter pack’ discount or the 10% discount code for signing up to the Cheeky Wipes newsletter.

If you aren't sure which style you prefer though, and don't want to commit to a bundle, the Black Friday cuts could be a good opportunity to try out a pair for less.

Are period pants right for you?

undefined

You might be skeptical about period pants if you haven’t used them before, but our 2021 user survey found that 75% of people who had tried them said they liked or loved them.

Users said they felt comfortable, were easy to wash and reduced waste. There were some cons though - some said they didn’t always feel fresh, they can be expensive, and that they can sometimes leak on heavy days.

It's still a relatively new market, and we're seeing new products coming out in response to some of these gripes, such as detachable pants that make swapping them over easier if you're out and about.

Some people choose period pants in a bid to reduce plastic waste, but it's worth knowing that some are made from synthetic fabrics that aren’t biodegradable, and they won't last forever.
