Nvidia's 5000 series cards usually come in a variety of models, each with slightly different specs and price ranges. All of the cards use Nvidia's new Blackwell chip architecture.
That said, once 30 January hits, you'll only be able to pick up the pricier RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 cards. The lower-range 5070 and 5070 Ti won't hit shelves until February.
There was no confirmation of an RTX 5060 at NVIDIA's CES 2025 announcements.

How can I increase my chances of getting a 5080 or 5090?
Most retailers are selling the RTX 5000 series on a first come, first served basis. With such limited stock in the UK, we wouldn't be surprised if retailers are out of stock within a few hours.
While it's still not guaranteed, here are our tips to increase your odds of snagging one of these cards:

A Founder's Edition card generally serves as a 'reference' design for third-party manufacturers such as Ases, Gigabyte or Zotac to follow.
All RTX 5000 series cards will use the same Nvidia chips and Blackwell architecture, but partner manufacturers will typically feature their own cooling solutions, customisations and aesthetics in their 'versions' of the card.
Some higher-end models may feature options for things such as overclocking (the practice of increasing the clock rate of a component), but keep in mind that may invalidate any manufacturer's warranty in case something goes wrong – despite it often being a marketed feature. Founder's Edition cards can't be overclocked.
Third-party cards are more abundant than Founder's Edition cards, but they tend to cost more.
If you can get your hands on one, we'd recommend going for a Founder's Edition card as they're cheaper and will generally perform just as well any partner models.
Should I buy an 5080 or 5090?
Unless you're gaming at 2K or 4K resolutions, or do creative tasks that require a lot of graphical processing power, you probably don't need to splash out £1,000 or more on one of these cards.
If you're building a new PC to game at 1080p Full HD, it will probably be better to wait for a 5070 or 5070 Ti. You can also always consider checking out an AMD graphics card instead.
Additionally, if you already have a last-gen RTX 4000 series graphics card such as a 4080 Super or a 4090, you can probably skip this upgrade.
