Bugaboo Lynx, from £795

This travel-system-compatible pushchair is suitable for use from birth until your child weighs 22kg, which is around four years old. The seat on the Bugaboo Lynx can transform into a carrycot, which is useful as then you don’t need to worry about buying an additional carrycot and storing it when not needed.
The pushchair can be configured so that your baby is facing towards you, or you can rotate it so that your little one can take in their surroundings on your walk. You can also choose between three recline settings and, if the weather takes a turn for the worse, use the hood for cover.
Once you’re done using the Bugaboo Lynx, you can fold it up to make it easier to store. Our tests show that it fits in the boot of a mid-sized family car, still leaving a bit of room for other items.

iCandy Orange 2021, from £899

Suitable for children from six months old to 25kg (around four or five years old), the iCandy Orange can be converted into a tandem double or twin travel system.
This pushchair comes bundled with a couple of handy accessories – you get an integrated ride-on board, a backpack changing bag, a rain cover and some car seat adaptors.
If you’re looking for a pushchair with additional storage compartments, the iCandy Orange could be worth adding to your shortlist. The basket can hold 10kg and there are two additional pockets in the rear of the seat.
The iCandy Orange 2021 is compatible with various infant car seats to convert it into a full travel system.

Cosatto Wow Continental, from £600

This travel-system-compatible pushchair is suitable for children up to around three or four years old. To convert it into a travel system or pram, you’ll need to replace the seat with the Cosatto Port i-size car seat or the Cosatto Wow Continental carry cot.
The Cosatto Wow Continental comes bundled with a rain cover and a viewing window, so you can keep your baby shielded from the rain (which let’s face it, is just as likely this summer) and check up on them without interrupting their snooze.
You can recline the seat on this pushchair one-handed by using the lever – there are four different positions to pick between.
